Live Generously

We have an exciting month coming up this April, and I would love to share with you a few important events.

April 7th and 18th, the Puyallup Food Bank is hosting a food drive at the Washington State Spring Fair. This is the first and last day of the fair, and Les Schwab Tire Center is generously sponsoring us.  All 12 Pierce County Les Schwab store locations are accepting non-perishable food from April 1-18th. Each person who donates an item is encouraged to enter their name in the drawing for a “Day at the State Fair,” valued at $200, including:

  • Two (2) concert tickets (specific concert TBD and is based on availability)

  • One (1) 10 Ride funcard

  • $25 in Food Bucks

  • Dozen Scone Tickets

April 1-30th, there is a raffle at the Puyallup Volkswagen dealership for the Beast Bug!

April 19-23rd is Volunteer Week, and we are honoring our 150+ active volunteers by providing a BBQ lunch from 11-12PM. If you are one of our awesome volunteers, I hope to connect with you there.

Lastly, we are now accepting donations through debit/credit card transactions, where each transaction’s spare change rounds up to the next dollar amount, and those remaining pennies are donated to the food bank. Visit our pfb.org/donate website or text Puyallup to 26989 to learn more.

You are a part of a generous community. Thank you for the role you play in helping us serve. If you have any prayer requests, please let me know. My door is always open, and I invite your call or email.

Generously,

Shawn Manley
Interim CEO
